How can Sustain® help?

Scours are common with poor digestive health affecting over one third of all calves born.

Scours are either the result of poor nutrition or unhygienic environments. Sustain® can be used in cases of nutritional scours.

Learn more about Scourgard® which would be the product chosen to help avoid bacterial scouring. This can be caused by many factors including; lack of good quality colostrum, poor nutrition, infection and stress.

Sustain is a unique combination of naturally occurring nutrients, essential salts, electrolytes and a probiotic which enhances nutrient intake and lowers pH in the gut allowing natural flora to thrive. Give one sachet immediately after scour is detected. In late detections or severe cases a second sachet is recommended.

Administration

Whether a calf scour is nutritional or bacterial, the effect is dehydration, loss of electrolytes and overall poor digestive health.

Sustain® provides the ability to continue milk feeding whilst overcoming the nutritional scour. There is no need for milk withdrawal.

Precautions

Only give to calves on milk or milk replacer feeds.

Keep out of the reach of children.
